Dan Fout Memorial Hunt

The Dan Fout Memorial Disabled Veterans Hunt, originally founded as the Pickaway County Disabled Veterans Hunt in 2010, was renamed in 2016 following the passing of Dan Fout to honor his memory and lasting impact.

This annual event is dedicated to providing Disabled American Veterans with the opportunity to hunt whitetail deer using archery equipment in a safe, supportive, and meaningful environment. Along with the hunt, participants enjoy meals, shooting contests, awards, and the invaluable camaraderie of fellow veterans and volunteers.

The Dan Fout Memorial Hunt features Two half-day hunts held in October at the Gabriel Farm, south of Circleville, Ohio and One full-day hunt on the second Saturday of November at Deer Creek State Park near Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
